I'll admit that this painting started without a goal. I decided to just start painting in Photoshop and just see what came out. Faces, hands, and feet, are often the most difficult body parts to draw, so I like to force myself to draw these things and learn.

The resulting drawing really evoked a sense of tranquility and peace to me and I thought of words that tied in to that feeling. It also reminds me of a perfume ad for some reason, but Content is a terrible name for perfume.

I chose the word content because of the double meaning. This painting was done just for fun, so I thought it'd be funny to have a bit of a pun there - the feeling of contentedness along with the fact that this illustration is content for my portfolio.
